Rad Rebels is a community of changemakers building belonging to unite us all. We have scouted the world for social impact leaders who are bold, who speak up, who fight and make the impossible happen every day. Six executives are selected globally for an immersive experience at the intersection of belonging and purpose.
Changemakers like you.
Rad Rebels is a space for us to be real with one another and take a much-needed break from leading organizations. It's hard these days — let's not feel it alone. We're calling this getaway a BE-treat. It's a retreat where you can just be. These four days together are just the beginning. We will be each other's backup dancers — sometimes for sanity checks, and sometimes for late night chats.
You can just be you….for us.
We are inviting changemakers who are the rad rebels in our lives. You share values of fighting for equity and challenging the systems you are a part of every day.
We are creating a gathering we seek for ourselves with our people, in a gorgeous place where can experience rest, creativity, inspiration, kinship and care.
You belong here.

Kim is a global leader in Belonging and Purpose, whose unique life story informs her passionate advocacy for inclusion and understanding. Born in Korea and adopted by American parents, Kim's journey has taken her from feeling perpetually out of place in different cultures to becoming an influential voice in creating spaces where everyone feels they belong.
As the Global Vice President of Impact at Steelcase, she applies her extensive experience in social innovation, honed through roles like the Executive Director of the West Michigan Center for Arts and Technology and a residency at Stanford's d.school, to foster more inclusive and equitable environments.
Kim is the best-selling author of You Belong Here, The Power of Being Seen, Heard, and Valued on Your Own Terms, published by Berrett-Koehler Publishers in 2024 and named a top book to read by the Financial Times. Her debut book reflects her transformation from a cultural chameleon trying to fit in to a thought leader who champions the idea of belonging to oneself. You Belong Here offers a new framework for individuals to create a sense of Belonging in any situation and serves as a launchpad for organizational leaders and culture builders to create safe spaces for individuals to show up as their authentic selves.

Zena is endlessly curious, so she’s created a career out of being a professional rabbit hole digger. She is sometimes — but not always — funny. She is inspired by music, film and TV. She used to be an executive design director at IDEO, where she specialized in communications and research. She led IDEO's inclusive design portfolio, working with organizations on their journey to be more inclusive, equitable, and responsible. She also did this work internally at IDEO, as she co-founded the Inclusive Design Collective, a group of designers working to evolve the company's design practices to be more inclusive and equitable. She taught a fellowship on equitable product design at UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and a class on innovation for the Design MBA program at the California College of the Arts.
Prior to design consulting, Zena worked for over a decade in media, producing videos and documentaries for The New York Times, ABC News, National Public Radio, among others. She created and produced The New York Times' "Modern Love" animated video series, which was nominated for an Emmy. She produced a documentary that premiered at Sundance. And she worked at Apple as a head of video for the Apple News app.
